Casey’s Engagement Photos: Part 1

I have a little treat for you lovelies…our engagement pictures!
We took them a few weeks ago, and we are so excited they’re finally in. This “part 1” features a more casual look. We decided to go with the love letter theme and feature some of our hundreds (we literally have hundreds!) of love notes from our high school days. We set up a little picnic area and actually sat there and read through some of them as our wonderful photographer Gina, from Gina Cristine Photography, snapped away.  We even used the rustic love note box that I created in this post.
Gina did a terrific job and we couldn’t be happier with how they turned out.
We’re hoping to use a few of our favorite pictures for our save the dates (any ideas for me for our save the dates? I’m struggling to come up with something creative and “us”…)
Come take a look at our photo session…

It was such a fun time and we loved every minute of it (even though it was freezing outside!)
Be sure to tune in tomorrow for “part 2” of our pictures. We definitely take things up a notch and get a little dressy and glam.
Here’s a sneak peek…

Until tomorrow…

    Good Morning!
I am in love with your photo shoot! For the Save the Dates, I think the one of you reading a note while your fiance reads over your should is adorable (its just above the typewriter pic). I also adore the one where you are both laying down with the letters scattered around and shot from above!

    • Thanks Shannon! Yes, I love those 2 photos as well. I’m trying to come up with a good way to make the save the date kinda like a “love letter” in itself. Sounds good in my head…but finding it hard to execute. Ha!
