Our Favorites from the Fall Target Collection

Bridget & CaseyOctober 27, 2016 Comments

We all know about the mystery of Target. You go in with 1 thing on your to-buy list, and you somehow leave an hour later spending no less than $100. How does that ALWAYS happen? It’s the Target mystery.

If you’re anything like us, then you cannot help but check out the home decor section every time you go to the store. It doesn’t matter if we just came to get a bottle of shampoo, we are beelining it over to the home section no matter what.  And lately, we’ve been lingering in this section a bit longer than usual because it’s just so good. I mean have you seen some of their new pieces for fall? Amazing.

Today we rounded up some pieces we have our eye one, and some that we’ve actually already purchased!

Our Favorites from Target’s Home Aisles

fall-favorites-target-mood-board-05-am1. Tripod Floor Lamp: This gorgeous brass lamp is less than $100 and would add just the right amount of glam to any living room. Yes, please.

2. Plant Stand: We’ve purchased some of our past planters from West Elm, but this one is much more budget-friendly. Love the sleek look of this one.

3. Agate Shadow Box and 4. Black & White Abstract: Target’s art & frame area has never truly blown us away. It’s always been kinda generic art that we’ve never been inclined to add to our own homes. Well that changed this fall! Their pieces are just so good, and the prices are spot on too.

5. White Ceramic Vase: You can never have enough pretty vases, and the texture on this one is a nice detail.

6. Marble & Gold Console Table: A little too glam for either of our current homes, but this table is just so good. We picture it in a front entryway to hold a dish for keys and maybe with a large mirror right over it? Swoon.

7. Herringbone Pillow: The tassels on this are just so good, and the tribal print keeps the gray color from looking boring. bridget-home-tour-wide-shots-family-room-flower-vase

8. Brass Handles Vase: Bridget scored this vase on major clearance, but even at full price (around $20) it isn’t that bad! A great decor piece for the fall season.

9. Lumbar Pillow: Obviously we’re big fans of this large lumbar pillow since we used it in our Lowe’s Home Makeover. The black and white is timeless, and the print keeps in on-trend.

Other Favorites

Brass Mirror: This mirror will forever be a favorite of ours. At $45, you just can’t find a nicer brass mirror out there. Bridget has this mirror above her bed, and we used it over the little bench in the Lowe’s home makeover. So many ways to use this budget-friendly mirror in your home. lowes-makeover-bedroom-reveal-bench-mirrorlowes-makeover-bedroom-reveal-mirror-round

You’re the Best MugThis mug is adorable and it’s just one of the MANY gorgeous mugs at Target right now. If our coffee mug collection wasn’t already busting at the seams, we would definitely be adding a few of these to our collection.

Marbled Vases: How fun are these marbled vases? They totally remind us of something Emily Henderson would have in her house, which is probably why we love them so much! target-fall-line

Sleek Gold Frames: What’s not to love about a West Elm look with a Target price tag?! #yespleasetarget-fall-line-2Marble Tray: These marble trays were on clearance and were VERY, VERY tempting! And those wood + gold kitchen utensils right there didn’t make walking away from all of these gorgeous treasures any easier! target-fall-line-4

Table Clock: You simply can’t go wrong with a marble and brass combo, and it’s only $17. This may be a new addition to Casey’s guest bedroom…

So please tell us we’re not alone when it comes to shopping at Target? Anyone else find themselves sucked into the home decor aisle even though you know you probably really don’t need to buy anything? Crazy how that works. Target does it again.

Oh good grief! As if I needed another reason to go to Target. That store is such a trap for me. I love all things in there. The clearance shelves are the best to browse through.

    • haha right?! It’s a death trap. There’s like no way I go in there and don’t spend $100. It’s craziness!!!!

  • Just when I thought I couldn’t love you two more….you go and do a round up of awesomeness at my favorite store! I swear I could decorate my whole house and clothe my whole family (even the dog) at Target. Here’s the catch for me, I live in Canada! And I don’t know if you folks heard about the disaster that was Target Canada, but it was tragic. Long, story short, they lasted about a year here. Luckily for me and my Target addiction, I live in Vancouver, super close to the border, and about an hour and 20 minutes from the closest Target. Being a mother of 3 and newly launching a decorating business specializing in kids spaces, I am particularly in love with their Pillowfort line. But the home decor section in general is my cryptonite. I just can’t refuse. I think Target does an amazing job at knocking off higher priced chains, and like you said, who wouldn’t want West Elm style stuff for half the prince? Okay, I will get off my soap box now. This post has made me even more excited for my Target road trip this coming Friday! That lamp, plant stand and pillow just might have to come home with me! And maybe the marble tray. And the clock….oh boy. Love you two gals! Thanks for continuing to “knock it out of the park” and hit a homerun with your content!💚

    • You are the sweetest Kerri! And oh my goodness…this proves how much we take our Target for granted! An 1.5 hour trip sounds like dedication! Do you ever order items online? Or is it not quite the same?

    • Oh boy, let me get out my soap box again! Okay here we go…so as if it wasn’t hearbreaking enough for Target to come into Canada, open up a million beautiful stores and then close them within a year, their online experience has been just as disappointing. There is now a Target Internatoinal site, but the shipping is ….hmmm …without being over dramatic….a million bajillion zillion dollars. Example, I had my heart set on this cute mid century mod bookcase, I think it was around $150. Converted to 🇨🇦 $, it came to 200 ish. I was totally fine with that. But the shipping? It was going to be $189!!! More than the cost of the bookcase! Ack! No thank you! What I don’t get is that Wayfair has recently opened their online doors to us Canadian retailers and they offer free shipping on orders $75 and over. As well as it should be! If anyone who works at Target is reading this, please call me. Help me, help you (in my best Jerry Maguire impression) You have a whole country full of Target lovers and you are missing out! Someone from Target should seriously hire me. And give me a lifetime free supply of Threshold decor. Okay, I will climb down of the soap box now. Cause it’s time for me to ship the kids off to school so I can go guess where? Target🎉😀 Have a great weekend everyone!

    • hahaha Kerri you crack us up! Cannot even believe shipping is that insane! Wow. wow. wow! So happy you can visit right across the border, but let’s hope they’re back in Canada soon!

      Happy Friday!

  • I love this!!! I was so tempted by those clearance marble trays too! I hope you keep doing these posts periodically!

    • Thanks for the feedback! We will definitely continue because who doesn’t love Target?! ha

So much of my home décor comes from Target, definitely my favorite store for high end looking pieces on a budget. My local store must have mis-marked the black and white lumbar pillow because the price was listed as $7.49! I snatched 2 up right away!

    • OMG $7 for the lumbar?! What an amazing steal — good work!!
