Cheers to our bar cart getting all dressed up for the holidays! She used to look like this, but now she is all glammed up for the upcoming holiday festivities.
By adding hints of silver and gold metallics, this bar cart is ready for some holiday cheers.
I scored the bar cart itself on clearance at HomeGoods about a year ago, and although I used a lot of treasures I had laying around the house, I also went back to HomeGoods to score a few extra accessories this holiday season. Let’s take a closer look…
I propped up a mini cutting board on top of the bar cart in order to add surface area and create a little more storage space. I snuck the napkins and bottle opener (two bar cart essentials thanks to this list) under the cutting board. The board will be perfect for our handsome bartender to cut garnishes as we entertain. #thatmeansyouMatt <– just checking if he’s reading.
The straw holder was a HomeGoods steal that was actually a toothpick holder I spotted from the clearance aisle. For 99 cents, I had plans that did not involve toothpicks. The coasters and napkins were each $3 splurges, usually I’m not one to buy extra paper products… but what the heck… ya only live once, right? The glamorous Christmas tree was also a HomeGoods find- $9.99 to be exact.
My favorite part of this cart are the pops of gold! Apparently it’s all about gold this season, and I can’t get enough. Bring on the sparkle!!
Thanks to HomeGoods holiday section, I also scored this Cheers plate for less than $5. I’m thinking I’ll add some cupcakes under the cake dome at some point. I mean, let’s be honest here… a party isn’t a party without a little dessert.
And last but not least, this Goodwill dice wraps up our little party on wheels. Not only is it a pop of holiday cheer, I think it also has the potential to add some serious entertainment as well.
For under twenty bucks, this bar cart is ready for some Christmas Cheers!
