Special Art for the Master Bedroom

MVP_template_PictureLedgeWallYou guys have seen our picture ledge wall for quite some time now here on the DIY Playbook. In fact, this simple installation is one of our most popular projects.

We still have the ledges up in our master bedroom, and we still love them. They’re seriously the best because it’s so darn easy to change out the frames, the art, and the pictures on a whim. My kinda project…one that you can forever tweak.

Anyways, I bring up the ledges because I recently had another piece of art join them on our master bedroom wall. Picture-Ledge-Master-Bedroom

For Christmas, my dad gave us this very special piece of art to commemorate our wedding year. Salvage-One-PosterIt features the place where we tied the knot…Michael-Casey-WEdding-Poster…as well as our names and wedding date.Poster-On-Wall I love the old Hollywood glam/Great Gatsby vibe it gives off.Poster-in-Master-BedroomPicture-Ledge-Master-Wall-PosterPlus it really helped balance the wall and add some height over my white jewelry cabinet.

Anyways, a short post today…but just wanted to keep you guys in the loop on new additions around here.

Wedding-RingsWhat do you have around your home to remember your wedding day? Any other neat art pieces that bring you back to that special day? casey_sig

Love picture ledges! I really like that print that’s like the Chicago flag…where is that from? We had a big state of MD picture with a heart where we actually got married and had guests sign all around it. I hung it in the hallway outside of our bedroom…I always seem to stop and read a few well wishes here and there so it’s a good reminder of the day!

    • The Chicago flag print is actually a greeting card that I found at Target last year. Love your guest book sign…what an amazing idea!
