Birthday Week: SURVEY + Giveaway

It’s DIY Playbook’s 3rd birthday this week… we know, we can’t believe it either!! If you’ve been around for the Playbook’s first or second birthday, you know that it’s a tradition around here to celebrate the blog’s birthday for a full week. Haha, obviously we don’t need much of an excuse to celebrate. =)

diy_playbook_3_birthday-003Similar to our previous “birthday weeks”, here’s what we have on tap for the week:

Monday: Reader Survey + $100 Paypal Giveaway <– we want to hear from you in order to make the DIY Playbook even better!

Tuesday:Β Free Gallery Wall Prints for everyone + Michael’s Makers Tutorial

Wednesday: What the blog has taught us (a bit of a tearjerker for us)

Thursday: A behind-the-scenes REAL TALK post about the good, bad & ugly of keeping the DIY Playbook up & running day in and day out.

Friday: VIDEO: You asked, we answered. Our most FAQ’s answered on-camera.

birthday_casey_bridget_rookies_balloons_3-181It’s going to be a fun week and we can’t wait to kick things off by hearing from you. Using the survey below, we want to learn more about you and hear what you think could be improved around here (please be honest!!). The survey is completely anonymous and we plan on sharing the results with everyone next week. So without further ado, tell us what’s on your mind…birthday_happy_cupcake_3

Oh and if you do complete the survey, make sure you fill out the rafflecopter giveaway below so you’re entered to win $100 Paypal cash from us! It’s just a tiny something to let you know how much we appreciate YOU & your feedback. Heck, the DIY Playbook wouldn’t even have a 3rd birthday to celebrate if it wasn’t for y-o-u. We’ll randomly choose a winner and announce the name next Monday, so be sure to complete the survey/Rafflecopter before then πŸ™‚

I have a space of MY pretty things and then I have a workspace for the kids. On the first day of class, I did the whole “This is MY dance space….this is YOUR dance space” speech for them–but in terms of “This is MY expensive sparkly pen…these are YOUR Crayola markers.” They are all high school juniors and rolling their eyes because they thought that I was treating them like little kids. My room is their first stop for all project needs now, though.

I completed your survey, but then just thought of something I forgot to suggest. Do you guys have snapchat or periscope? I’d love to see video posts from those apps by you.

    • Air fryer?! We will need an update on that one if you get it!

And we’ve toyed around with the idea, but aren’t sure how it would work on 2 different phones? Not sure if it’s possible to have the same account from 2 devices? #clueless

    • Trang

Yeah, intriguing concept huh – air fryer? He said that his wife will buy the prepared fish with light panko breading at the grocery store and brush it VERY lightly with EVOO, and put it in the air fryer for the fish setting (15 minutes) and it comes out flaky and crunchy. And it doesn’t smell up the house.

    • Now that sounds like even WE could handle that kind of cooking! Keep us updated, Trang!

  • Stephanie Cooper
