Bridget’s Having A…

Like I spilled in this first trimester Q&A post, Matt and I were so excited to find out the gender of Baby Mac as soon as we could. What can we say, we’re planners!

Any Guesses?

So at our 20-week appointment, we eagerly waited to hear the exciting news and could not wipe the smiles off of our faces when we heard the doctor announce…

IT’S A BOY!!!!!!!

Oh Boy!

We’re most importantly excited for the news of a happy, healthy baby. But we’re also SO excited to meet this little gentleman in February. But until then, we have lots of planning, prepping, and NURSERY designing to do (not to mention finishing the construction on the rest of the house!!) before his arrival.

So although we’re counting down the days to meet him, we’re happy to wait patiently and finish up what we can until he’s ready to make his debut.

And until then, are you guys ready to tackle this nursery with me?! I’ve never really imagined what a nursery would look like in my house, but I can’t wait to find out.

  • H Buchanan

    Yay yay yay! Congratulations!

  • Oh my gosh, how exciting! I can’t wait for this little guy to make his arrival! And I can’t wait to see what direction you take with the nursery. Did you go to Land of Nod the day you found out, lol? Nurseries are my favorite. I swear when we found out we were unexpectedly having baby #3, one of my first thoughts was “yay, I get to design another nursery!”. This was also where my business idea was born, I originally thought I would be a decorator for babies and kids. The good news is that you have already worked on a nursery for your nephew and it turned out so great! You are gonna knock this out of the park! (Couldn’t resist a baseball metaphor!) hugs and congratulations!

    • You’re so sweet, thanks Kerri! I haven’t been to Land of Nod YET but I have spent a lot of time online looking. PLUS, we have a Land of Nod outlet in our area so I’m extra excited to start searching and planning!!

  • Erin

    • Awww, thanks so much Erin! You are far too kind!

So excited for you guys! 🙂 I hope you find some time to rest with a house remodel over pregnancy. That would have been my literal nightmare LOL

    • Haha it’s been a little crazy but hopefully the hard work will be done before I get too big. 😉

  • I also come from all sisters (you too, right??) and only have a son. Definitely a change from how I grew up but it is so much fun! Congratulations! (Just, maybe, be prepared to do a lot of cleaning around the toilet during potty training…)

    • Oh boy!! But yes, coming from all sisters to a nephew and now a son is definitely different. Thanks for the tips!!
