Last Minute Dad’s Day DIY
June is flying by and we can’t believe Father’s Day is already this weekend. Wasn’t it just Mother’s Day? 2014 please slooooow down…
We’re both excited to spend some quality time with our own fabulous fathers this weekend, and if you’re gonna spend the day with your own Pops, you may want to bring him a custom/personalized/one-of-a-kind/unique gift! Nothing says “thanks for raising me and loving me all my life” like a non-store bought gift. Show your love (and show off your DIY skills!) with one of our easy projects. We promise you can complete any of these projects in time to toast Dad this Sunday!
Here are some oldies, but goodies…
Make a Wordle <—You can definitely make this one a bit more “manly” for your Dad.
Personalized String Art <—His favorite sports team logo? His monogram? There are so many opportunities to personalize this project.
Scrabble Tile Coasters (spell out a word that describes your dad, his favorite hobby, or maybe even his last name). The possibilities are endless!!
Paint Can Planters
Okay, so maybe you’d much rather BUY than DIY…don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!
We would like to welcome our newest sponsor Long Eared Designs. Lauren runs this adorable Etsy shop, where she specializes in hand painted trays. They’re fun and totally one of a kind. Lauren takes custom orders, so if you’re looking for a unique Father’s Day gift…this just might be the option for you. How about a cool tray for a man cave? Or a tray showing off his favorite beers? Get creative and personal with a tray from Long Eared Designs.
So there’s our little round-up! We’ve certainly got a wide variety of projects and hopefully one of them will appeal to the man in your life. A big shout out to our own wonderful dads who show us their unconditional love and support each and every day. We hope you take some time this weekend to show your own father some TLC.
Cheers to all of the fabulous dads out there!
