C’s Updates: At the beginning of the month, I was fortunate to spend a long weekend in sunny Arizona! My grandma (Meme) lives there, and every year we try to make a trip out west to see her and soak in the sun. My mom, sister, and sister-in-law all headed to Phoenix…so it was a very fun girls’ trip! We’re always pretty lame when we go out there (wake up early, go on a long walk, lay by the pool, make dinner, and go to bed by 9pm!)…but it’s our kinda vacation. No busy schedules & long to-do lists for these gals. I was able to read The Girl on the Train while laying out by the pool and I definitely recommend it. I was cringing during some parts, but overall a great book if you’re looking for something new to read! The warm temps, sun-filled days, and relaxed schedule definitely got me excited for our honeymoon in Mexico next month…
B’s updates: This month was luckily a tad less busy for me. While Casey was in AZ, I took the weekend off to unplug too, which was a nice little break. I took that weekend off to celebrate one of my favorite holidays, St. Patrick’s Day, with lots of family tradition. Matt and I headed down to see Chicago’s river get dyed green while also attending quite a few family parties (our big Irish families love March 17th)! With the help of my dad, I also was able to complete another weekend warrior project that I plan on chatting about Friday and revealing next week (hint: board & batten itch strikes again). I’m looking forward to enjoying the warmer weather, Spring Break travels, and getting started on my little sister’s new place. Of course, I’ll share all of the scoop along the way, but make sure you are tuning in to our Instagram or Facebook account for some pictures. Overall, March was a fun, festive, and productive month!
