Fill up the Mason Jars
Rookie Tip: When filling up your large mason jars (we used these ones) with these ingredients, it’s important that you PACK each layer down as much as you can (you can use a small ladle in order to do this). Without packing the ingredients down, the jar will not be big enough to fit all of the chocolate chips and M&M’s at the end. We also used a napkin wrapped around a spatula to wipe the inside of the jar after we added the flour. The flour added some unwanted “flour residue” and the napkin spatula combo was the ticket in making sure that unwanted “fog” didn’t affect the clarity of the other layers.
