Chocolate Chip Cowboy Cookies

- 1 cup White Sugar
- 1 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 sticks Butter
- 2 Eggs
- 2 cups Flour
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 2 cups Quick Oats
- 12 ounces Chocolate Chips Milk or Semi-Sweet
- 1 cup Chopped Nuts (Optional) We use walnuts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream together sugars and butter until fluffy.
Add eggs and mix well.
In another bowl, combine your dry ingredients (flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder).
Add the flour mixture to the egg mixture slowly, mixing well.
Add vanilla and mix.
Stir in the oats.
Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts.
Add small spoonfuls to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. I spray with Pam before adding the dough.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
