Pot o' Green Puppy Chow
A classic treat with a hint of festive green for St. Patrick's Day. Put out a bowl of this puppy chow at your big Irish party and it'll please the crowd!
Ingredients
- 9 cups Chex cereal
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 t. vanilla
- 1.5 cups powdered sugar
- Sprinkles optional
- Green m&m's optional
Instructions
- Measure cereal in a large bowl and set aside.
- Microwave the chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter on high for 1 minute. Mix and microwave for another 30 seconds, or until smooth.
- Add vanilla and mix. Pour mixture over cereal and stir until entirely coated.
- Pour mixture a baggie or large tupperware and add powdered sugar. Shake well until all pieces are coated.
- Spread out on wax paper to cool. Add sprinkles or m&m's to add some color!
