Modern Master Bedroom: Get The Look for Less

First of all, thank you for the positive response on the master bedroom makeover! I loved working on this space, and Iโ€™m so happy that you guys loved it as much as I do. It truly is a stunning bedroom.

Today I want to show you how you can get this same lookโ€ฆfor less! There were some big-ticket items in this room (like the bench and the canopy bed) that may not be affordable for our average reader. So I found some look-a-likes that are almost as good as the real thing and a fraction of the cost!

A lot of the other items in this room were actually incredibly affordable (like our favorite gold mirror for only $49!), so Iโ€™ll highlight those too! (Psst..you can click on each item in the mood board below to go directly to the item).

Get the Look for Less

Canopy Bed ($299): This one is only $299 for a queen and the reviews are fantastic! A serious look-a-like from the Restoration Hardware one.

Flatweave Rug ($278): Loving the Moroccan vibe of this rug and I can hardly believe that price for such a large rug.

Leather Bench ($179): The original bench from Rejuvenation is a showstopper, but it’s the priciest piece in the room. This cognac bench, with chrome legs, is a great budget-friendly alternative!

Wood Nightstand ($116): While this color is different from the one we used in the space, I actually like this oak color even more! Love the sleek black handles too.

Round Mirror ($49): This is the actual mirror we used in the space (and you can see it in Bridget’s old master bedroom). Not only do we love the price, but we love the slim hint of brass and the size of this round mirror. If you need a mirror for any space in your home, I always recommend this one!

Matching White Lamps ($121): These are also the same ones that we used in the master bedroom space, because $121 for 2 lamps isn’t a bad deal. Loving the texture on these bad boys, plus they’re big enough for this large space.ย

Navy Campaign Dresser ($330): The piece from the master bedroom is vintage and we had it painted here at Megmade in Chicago. This navy dresser isn’t quite the same, but I love the deep blue color and you can’t go wrong with a campaign-style!

Floor-Length Mirror ($50): The brass & black mirror from the bedroom is stunning, but $400 for an accessory may be out of your budget. This $50 floor-length mirror from Ikea is a great alternative.

Velvet Pillow ($10): $10 for a velvet pillow? Yes, please! Love this paired with crisp white bedding.

Striped Lumbar Pillow ($25): H&M has amazing prices for home products (we need to remember to shop there more often), and their pillow selection is spot on.

Black & White Throw ($20): H&M again for the win. A cozy throw in a classic color palette.ย

This โ€œlook for lessโ€ bedroom comes in at only $1477! Not bad for a complete master bedroom makeover.ย

If you have any questions about any of the items in this room, please let me know. Iโ€™d be happy to answer! It was definitely fun to decorate this bedroom and I’m thrilled with the results. Now onto the next space.
