My Favorite Dresses for Spring Weddings
As you guys know from last week’s post, we were just in Austin for a wedding and had an amazing time! The warm weather felt incredible, the food was delicious, and the wedding was an absolute blast.
I was in need of a new dress for the wedding, so I ended up doing a bit of shopping back in March. Fun fact about me, I actually loathe shopping. In high school, when all of my girlfriends wanted to go to the mall shopping, I was just not a fan of it. I don’t have the patience to peruse the racks and try things on. I would much rather shop for home decor than for clothing any day of the week! Thank goodness for online shopping. That’s the only reason I have any clothing in my wardrobe..haha.
My Spring Dress
I ended up buying this dress from Anthropologie for the wedding and I absolutely love it! I always hit up Anthropologie for dresses because I feel like they have such a unique variety. Whenever I buy a dress from there, I always get tons of compliments because it’s so different from any other dress at a wedding. I ended up getting compliments on this dress too! When I posted it on Insta Stories I got tons of questions about it, so I wanted to share all of the scoop here.ย
The colors are fun, the fit is flattering, and it was incredibly comfortable…great for dancing! They also have it in a super cute brown polka dot and it’s giving me all of the Pretty Woman vibes. Anyone else rememberย that incredible dress from the movie? So good!
I ended up wearing my favorite nude sandals for the wedding. I bought them from Sole Society last year and have worn the heck out of them. Sadly, they don’t make them anymore but I do always love sandals from Sole Society and end up buying a new pair every summer. Right now, I’m thinking I may add these ones to my rotation for summer.
When Finn and I were snapping these pics before we headed out for the wedding, this neighborhood cat kept photobombing all of our pics. It was hilarious! We would walk to a new area, and sure enough…the cat was front and center in the photos! He made for a good photo partner…

Shop ThisWearing This Dress to The Wedding
The wedding itself was unlike any other I’ve ever been to. My cousin and his gorgeous bride got married outside under a large tree. Can you even with those flowers all over it?! It was magical.
I was in love with the color scheme…fresh eucalyptus, deep burgundy, with hints of white and pink. An absolute dream for an outdoor wedding. There were crazy rainstorms the day of the wedding, but luckily everything cleared in time for the ceremony and reception. It was a day to remember!ย
