What better way to embrace our heart-eyes for emojis this year than to become ones ourselves?! Heck, we knew it was the year of the emoji for us when our moms even jumped on the emoji train this past year. [monkey holding his mouth emoji…. say whaaaattttt?!]

This project takes nearly no time at all to assemble. Here’s what you’ll need along with the exact cost breakdown.

This DIY Halloween costume idea could be great for a pair, but this idea could also be a really great theme for a larger group (family/friends/neighbors/work departments). How fun would it be to dress up as a whole group of emojis?! Everyone in the group could pick their favorite emoji and recreate the look. Each “emoji” could choose one that fits their level of skill in the Halloween Department. There are super simple emojis to recreate (like ours) and ones that can be more intricate for the costume lovers in the crowd. (Pssst…if you’re tech-challenged and emojis aren’t your thing…be sure to check out some of these costume ideas too!)
