B & C’s 2018 Holiday Wish List

Receiving gifts as an adult is an odd experience. If there is something either of us ever realllly wants…we will often save and buy the items for ourselves. But around this time of the year, we do always like to put our holiday wish list together!

Our moms, husbands, and other family members are always asking what we want for Christmas and instead of saying, “Oh, I don’t need anything” or “Whatever you think”, we try to make it a little easier on them and offer some specific gift ideas. It’s a win-win for everyone. They have an easier time shopping and we get items we actually want and need.

Bridget’s Holiday Wish List

I realized after putting together my holiday wish list that I am SO lame! When did this happen?! Well, technically I knew this for a while now, but seeing this list made it more official. I think you’ll know what I’m talking about after you see my not-so-glamorous, yet very functional, Christmas list. But to be perfectly honest, there’s no shame in my lame game. A heated blanket, an organizer for my car, and even some new pots and pans that don’t chip all sound pretty fabulous to me. #adulting

Neutral Sneakers

Love these everyday sneakers, perfect to wear with jeans or athleisure pants!

Becoming Book

I don’t have much time to read these days, but when I do, I only read non-fiction books. This one is at the top of my list!

Fluffy Body Pillow

Not a very glamorous gift, but definitely a functional one. I’d get so much use out of a body pillow, so I don’t feel bad adding it to this year’s wish list!

New Pots & Pans

Our pots and pans are all hand-me-downs and have seen better days by this point. Matt and I love this set, especially because of the “green” qualities. But we’re also open to other suggestions, anyone?

Everyday Necklace

I love this dainty, everyday necklace. My old one broke (like a year ago!) so adding a new everyday staple is a bit overdue!

Heated Blanket

Am I the only one who is ALWAYS cold?! I used to have a heated blanket that I was obsessed with, but it didn’t make the move because it was old and very “worn”. But I love this one for under $30, plus it comes in a variety of patterns!

Car Seat Organizer

You know you’re an adult when a car seat organizer makes you excited… ha! I’m oddly excited about one of these but I’m not sold on this specific one. Does anyone have a style that they love?!

Homebody Book

Another book that I have no time to read… BUT I love Joanna Gaines and this book looks gorgeous (and super inspiring)!

Warm Wool Socks

I put these socks on my favorites page of this year’s gift guide because they’re so good! I added them to my wish list again this year so I can add a few more pairs to my collection.

Casey’s Holiday Wish List

Like Bridget, I too feel like my holiday wish list is pretty lame. But I guess that’s what happens when you hit your 30’s right? My most immediate needs include items for our upcoming trip to Quebec City (we leave the day after Christmas!), so I’m trying to stock up on all of the warm things! Other than that, these are some quality items that I’ve been coveting…

Sorel Snow Boots

My duck boots have seen better days and it’s about time I upgrade my snow boots. These ones have amazing reviews and would keep my tootsies nice and warm.

Smart Wool Socks

Yep, you know you’re old when you ask for socks for Christmas. But these ones are AMAZING! I bought a pair for Quebec City because they’re supposed to keep your feet warm and wick away moisture. I want to get a few more pairs…

Apple Watch

This is the big item I’m asking for this Christmas! Ever since Bridget got her Apple watch, I’ve wanted one too. I’d love to track my sleep and steps in the new year.

Gray Nike Running Shoe

I’m not the best at replacing my gym shoes when they get too worn. I’d love some new running/workout shoes to start 2019 off on the right foot. These gray ones are perfect!

Mantra Cuff Bracelet

2018 has been the hardest year of my life. But I’ve also learned that I’m one strong woman. A small reminder to trust the process and keep on moving forward would be a nice piece to wear every day.

Zippered Cuyana Tote

Last Christmas, I got this brown leather tote from Cuyana. I’ve used it every single day since. I’d love to add another to my collection and this zippered one in the color blush is stunning.

Gold Moccasins

Now that I’m a work-from-home-gal, I’m always getting bundled up in the house with so many layers. I’d love to wear these trendy slippers all day long as I get work done.
