A Gray Guest Bedroom with Feminine Touches

You guys have gone pretty gaga over my mom’s new condo…and for good reason. Every room is looking so good and it really is the perfect spot for a single lady with a fabulous sense of style. Here are some of her rooms if you haven’t seen them yet…Blush pink accents in a neutral master bedroom

I’ve pretty much shown you guys everything in her 2-bedroom condo. Well, except for the other bedroom. The gray guest bedroom to be exact. This space has been looking pretty good since she moved in, but we only recently added the finishing touches to bring it all together.

Gray Guest Bedroom

A gray guest bedroom in the color Chelsea GrayHere is the view walking into this room. For a guest bedroom in the city, this room is big! There’s a small hallway with a big closet and then it opens up into this massive room with large windows and tall ceilings.ย Paint color Chelsea Gray by Benjamin Moore works well in this gray guest bedroom

We went with the paint color “Chelsea Gray” by Benjamin Moore in this room and I absolutely love it. Guest rooms in dark hues are always my favorite (as evidenced by my own guest room) because they just feel so cozy for your guests. This gray is a nice true gray…with no green, blue, or purple undertones.

The oriental inspired rug adds some nice comfort and plushness to the ground. This is an 8×10 and it makes the room even more luxurious.ย Floral pillows with a velvet lumbar pillow

We found these floral pillows from HomeGoods and they add a nice feminine touch to the space. Paired with a gray velvet pillow, it’s the perfect look! While we love the platform bed in my mom’s master bedroom, we kept it more affordable in here with a simple gray headboard and a white duvet cover.ย These white nightstands from West Elm pop against the gray wall

Now, let’s chat about these white nightstands. I mean can you even? They’re so incredibly pretty and I love the wood tiled drawer fronts. Plus, it’s nice that you can fit a textured basket underneath for even more storage.ย White lamps from Wayfair look great in this guest bedroom

On top, we added my favorite white lamps from Wayfair. Such a steal for the pair ($100), you can’t go wrong with this simple look. This large white cabinet from HomeGoods stores lots of office supplies

My mom doesn’t have a designated office space, so we purchased this large storage piece from HomeGoods to hold all of her office supplies. The bottom 4 drawers are actually filing cabinets and when you open up the cabinet it has a bulletin board and desk situation! She doesn’t use the desk in here (she prefers to work at the dining room table), but it’s so nice to have room for all of those office supplies.

Gallery Wall of Frames

Love this gallery wall over a dresser

On the wall opposite the bed, we added this wood dresser for even more storage. My mom keeps this dresser empty so guests have a place for their items when they come to visit. I’m really happy we went with wood for the dresser. With all of the white in here, the room was just begging for some warmth and this did the trick! It’s from Land of Nod (now Crate & Kids) and it doesn’t look like it’s available anymore (bummer!). This one looks pretty similar though.ย Use a mix of frames over a dresser for an eclectic look

Above the dresser, we added a gallery wall of photographs and art. This is what took us awhile to finish this space. I wanted myย mom to collect some of her favorite art before we hung this. I’m so happy we waited because each of these pieces is special to her.ย Brass frame from West Elm with a Minted print

Because of the dark walls, we decided to do a collection of light frames….white, light wood, and brass. The end result was a nice eclectic mix of colors, prints, and sizes. My mom ordered some art from Minted and to save money we framed them ourselves. This is always a good option if you want to save a few dollars, because framing through Minted can add up quickly!Asymmetrical gallery walls look good with a variety of prints and frame sizes

The brass frames are my favorite and I have a few of them in my house too. They’re from West Elm and the quality is exceptional. Most of the other ones are from Michaels and they’re light enough that I was just able to use command strips to hang them.ย A white Homegoods vase with pink flowers

On top of the dresser, I added this white vase and gold box (both from HomeGoods). My mom and I have been hitting up the local farmer’s market every Sunday to scoop up fresh flowers. So it’s always good to have some pretty vases around to fill with her finds.ย Faux greenery looks nice on 2 coffee table books

On the other side of the dresser is a stack of hardcover books and a faux ivy plant. Again, both from HomeGoods. I swear this isn’t sponsored, it’s just the HomeGoods store near her house has so many good finds! I didn’t even realize they sold hardcover books until I spotted these pretty ones. I mean, how cool is that Collected book cover? That would be perfect for a coffee table because of the gorgeous pattern.

Gallery wall over a dresser

I think that area really came together well. It’s my favorite spot in the entire room.
