One Tray, Four Ways

On Monday, we showed you how we made a gorgeous marble tray on a budget. Today we’re back to convince you that this tray could look good in just about any room in your home. Here’s the proof…

First up, one of our least favorite rooms in the house (at least for these 2 non-cooks!)…

THE KITCHEN:

IMG_0188Corral any clutter on your kitchen countertops and give it a place to call home with this tray. Fresh flowers always look good in a kitchen, but think outside the box too. Olive oil bottles, pretty vinegar containers, salt and pepper shakers…any small kitchen items will look chic and less sloppy on a tray like this one!

Potential Items to Display:

  • Spices
  • Salt & Pepper Shakers
  • Lean cutting boards on the back wall
  • Coffee containers & coffee mugs
  • Sugar & Creamer for a mini coffee station
  • Pretty napkins
  • Oil & Vinegar dispensers
  • Soap dispenser & sponge
  • Kitchen utensil holder

Now moving onto…

THE OFFICE:

Any busy office desk can get a little jampacked with items, so it’s great to designate particular areas on your desk for specific things. That way all of your items remain organized and you know where to put things back at the end of a long workday.ย  This tray could be a useful addition to any desktop, and works well to keep any regularly used goodies out & on-hand.

Potential Items to Display:

  • Pen Holder
  • Coffee mug
  • Bowl of paper clips
  • Post it notes & pretty paper items
  • Container filled with colorful washi tape
  • Notebooks
  • Stamps & Postage
  • Business cards
  • Stapler

Next up?

THE POWDER ROOM:

This is where Casey’s tray has made a permanent home because it is the absolute perfect size to fit between the 2 sinks in a double vanity. Counter space is a premium in any bathroom, but you can show off your “fancy” powder room essentials directly on this tray. Jewelry-TrayVanity-Marble-Tray

Potential Items to Display:

  • Perfume bottles
  • Jewelry
  • Soap Dispenser or Hand Soaps
  • Hand towels
  • Q-tips & Cotton Balls
  • Toothbrush Holder
  • Makeup Brushes
  • Pretty hair items & bobby pins

And bringing up the rear….

THE LIVING ROOM:

We’ve chatted many times about how we both loving to use trays on our coffee tables. It just makes it that much easier style a little tray and pick up the entire thing when you need to put your feet up on the table. Plus, your remote control & coffee table books look that much more chic on a marble tray like this one! Turtle-decor-marble-tray

Potential Items to Display:

  • A decorative box filled with remote controls or playing cards
  • Coffee table books
  • Fresh flowers
  • Trinkets (like my little stone turtle from our honeymoon!)
  • Bowl of matches
  • Candle
  • Coasters
  • Magazines
  • Plants or succulents

So what do you think? Where would you style your marble tray? Or perhaps there is no need to choose when each tray costs less than $15 to make…Bridget and Casey Signature
